The meaning of DeeDeeDee?
DeeDeeDee does not actually exist in the Thai dictionary. It was inspired, or rather prompted by a monk. Indeed, in the Buddhist culture it's part of the tradition to visit a monk, upon opening a new business, to make sure we get the good graces of the gods. I went to a temple near my home, in Khon Kaen. And the monk I referred to was adamant the shop's name should contain a "Dee". A triple "Dee"! It's not only short, catchy and melodious, but in Thai it means "what is good and right". And to repeat three times honours the past, the present and the future. The DeeDeeDee mindset needs to be shared. I can't wait to welcome you, give you an insight into my world and help you reach your "Dee".
About me
At the origin of the DeeDeeDee salon is me, Chompoo. I was born and raised in Khon Kaen, in the North-East of Thailand. There I studied massage in professional schools and obtained two official diplomas. For the past 15 years, I have been practising and improving my skills. For me, Thai massage is far more than just a livelihood, it's a way of life. Before taking the plunge an opening my own salon in Switzerland, I worked for 7 years in Morges in an institute dedicated to Thai massage. By opening my own salon, I wish to share my experience and expertise with my clients, to infuse my workplace with my vision and give the city of Lausanne some Thai hues. My passion is all about sharing, so is my job. I am delighted to give you an insight of the power of the "Dee".
